Level 1: CFA® Program

Level 1 is the first level out of three levels in CFA® Program. Candidates must pass all  three levels of examinations one by one. cfa Level 1 preparation in Delhi and MumbaiLevel I of CFA Exam takes place twice a year (June and December). Level II & III exams are held once a year (June).


  • Have a bachelor’s degree or be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree.
    • Or have 4 years of qualified, professional work experience
    • Or a combination of work and university experience that totals at least 4 years (Part-time, and internship positions do not qualify)
  • Meet the professional conduct criteria of CFA Institute.

What is the minimum eligibility to register for CFA Program?

What is the exam pattern for level 1 of CFA Program ?

Level 1 Exam has two sittings. Morning session of 3 hours with 120 questions and afternoon session of 3 hours with another 120 questions.

All questions are multiple choice and there is no negative marking.

How much time it'll take to complete CFA program?

It takes normally 3 to 4 years to complete CFA program and get the CFA charter. However, you can complete the program in 2 years also if you plan well.

How CFA can help a CA ?

CA are the best in Accounting, taxation and auditing. Where as CFA are best into investment and finance related matter. So, if you are a CA and CFA both you are amazing Job opportunities in corporate finance, M&A, Investment Banks and plenty more.

Which is better MBA or CFA?
