CFA course has 3 levels and it is conducted by CFA Institute, USA Since 1969. Candidates must pass all 3 levels of examinations one by one to get cfa chartered. CFA Level 1 exam takes place twice a year in June and December. CFA Level II & III exams are held once a year (June).
CFA Program Details
- Have a bachelor’s degree or be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree.
- Or have 4 years of qualified, professional work experience
- Or a combination of work and university experience that totals at least 4 years (Part-time, and internship positions do not qualify)
- Meet the professional conduct criteria of CFA Institute.

Passing and Difficulty Level
Normal average passing rate for CFA Level 1 is 36%. This is comparatively very high from other competitive exams. You need to invest around 300 hours in self-studies to complete the syllabus.
